Kingdom Holding Company acquired The Savoy Hotel in 2005 in partnership with Halifax Bank of Scotland.
KHC believed The Savoy, with its iconic status and worldwide reputation, presented an ideal opportunity to replicate the refurbishment and repositioning strategy, which the company had so successfully employed at the George V Hotel in Paris.
KHC maintains a majority interest in this world-renowned hotel, which is now run under the Fairmont flag, today owned by AccorHotels.
